The Stables
The East & West Stables at Castlemans overlook the open land between the Church and Sedlescombe village and the fantastic views to the ridge above Hastings in the distance.
Being mirror images of each other, they are exactly the same size and are decorated and fitted almost identically. Although completely separate, they share a utility room which has washing machine, tumble dryer and a deep freeze.
Each has a large double bedroom with en-suite shower room, a twin room with adjacent bathroom, kitchen, sitting room and private deck overlooking the view The overhanging roofs, hayracks and stalls, together with the intimate courtyard capture the atmosphere of a country stables to perfection. There is ample parking space as well as a grass area for children to play.
East and West Stables can be booked together for larger gatherings together with our shepherd's hut Jessie to provide extra accommodation as well.
Dogs are very welcome at all our cottages. There are some lovely walks around our pretty village and the pub is dog friendly too.

Thank you for a lovely stay. We had a wonderful time exploring 1066 Country with our kids - its a perfect spot even in the autumn. Theo enjoyed the sheep and cows and the trip on the steam train was fabulous. About 15 mins away is a lovely park for the little ones that was also enjoyed. Thanks for a fab stay!
