As you enter through the door into both the East and West Stables, you walk straight into the sitting room which has a woodburning stove and french doors onto your own deck. There are chairs, a table and a BBQ so you can spend quiet evenings in the summer eating outside overlooking the Sussex countryside.
On the other side of the stable partition is the kitchen which is very well equipped with plenty of china and glasses, all new electrical appliances and lots of cupboard space. The dining table can seat up to 6 if you have guests for a meal.
The master bedroom is really spacious and tranquil with soft blues and sandy hues which give a coastal feel to the room. There is a superb ensuite bathroom which has a loo, basin and walk-in shower/wet room.
The second bedroom is again decorated in simple colours and has twin beds, a hanging wardrobe and a wall-mounted TV. It has a bathroom immediately adjacent to it with a bath with shower attachment, a loo and a basin with large cupboard under. Both bathrooms are brightly lit and have mirrors and heated towel rails.
The stables are spacious and relaxing to live in with the natural stone floors in the living rooms and carpets in the bedrooms. There are small wall-mounted televisions in both bedrooms and a large flat-screen one in the living room with a DVD player. We have put books on the bookshelves and jigsaw puzzles for rainy days – we have had quite a few of those on our family holidays, and we know the puzzles are quite challenging and have all their pieces!
